To: The State of Israel The Temple Mount is the holiest place in the world to the Jewish people; yet Jews are denied the right to pray in groups, and even as individuals; this refusal is accompanied by their constant degradation, and they are granted no opportunity for any religious expression whatsoever on the Temple Mount.
It is our position that if the stature of the Jews on the Temple Mount were to change positively, in a manner that would reflect their status as law-abiding citizens, sons of the nation that is sovereign on the Mountain and as people who have basic human rights in the Jewish state, then the standing of the State of Israel would immediately improve. This would effect a positive change for the benefit and security of all its citizens.
Ever since the Six Day War, many Jews to whom the Temple Mount is precious (and what Jew does not hold the Temple Mount as precious?) have demanded the right to pray at this sacred site. These demands have been based on their understanding that arrangements could be made that would reflect the reality of the current situation. However, let it be known that the Jewish people will never accept the total refusal of Jewish communal prayer on the Mountain.
We demand that the Government of Israel allow the Jewish people to have freedom of religious expression on the Temple Mount. Additionally, the government must establish special fixed days for Jewish communal prayer in fixed locations on the Temple Mount. This move will serve as evidence of Jewish sovereignty on the Mount.

fom "sharpy sites" http://sharpy20.multiply.com/journal/item/94 Jun 10 2008 Churches in Maluku province fear that extremists may be reviving a campaign of anti-Christian violence after four believers were brutally murdered in one village. The village of Horale on Seram island was virtually razed to the ground when it was reportedly assaulted by Muslims from neighbouring Saleman. The four Christians who died include a six-year-old girl and her grandmother. Fifty-six others were wounded. News of the assault, which took place on May 2, has been slow to filter out because of the village's remote location. Barnabas Fund reports that many people were left homeless after 120 homes were set alight. The village school, three churches and 15 hectares of crops also went up in flames. Barnabas reports that similarly remote areas have also been attacked in recent months. This has sparked concerns that the Moluccas, the scene of much anti-Christian violence between 1999 and 2001, may once again be the target of extremist attacks. Special police forces have been mobilised to guard the border between Horale and Saleman villages. Meanwhile, in Citeko, west of Java, hundreds of militants tried to burn down a church on May 21, amid reports that its congregation was planning to erect a new building. Police have so far arrested four suspects, according to AsiaNews. And, in Jakarta, extremists attacked a religious tolerance rally on May 19 at which some 200 Christians and Muslims had gathered to call for greater religious freedom. Several protestors were injured when members of the Islamic Defenders Front rushed at them with sticks and flags, shouting 'Repent or die!' Pray for the families of those who were killed in Horale – and for the speedy recovery of the injured. Ask God to give them all the grace to forgive. Pray that the Indonesian authorities would take a tougher line on Islamist hardliners who seem increasingly intolerant of the Christian community.
Watch the man on the left walking, crossing the road where there is NO car. It is so obvious that the coast on the left is clear and safe to cross. Any person would see it as safe...however, only God knows! Always be PRAYERFUL when on the road or out of your home. Take nothing for granted, not even for a split second! Be grateful for every living minute.

GOT MESSIAH ??? (I do understand that most of my friends/contacts here really have understood who Mesias/Messiah/Moshiach is. But allowed me to share this glad tidings for they who still dont sure who HE really is, to them who is still in doubt, to them who want to know who HE really is...this is for everyone... But I must tell you that this is not for debating but everyone want to add/share testimony/ knowledge according to the Holy Scripture are welcome) So what is Messiah anyway? Is it a person, or an age, or neither? YOU must make the choice. However, it is best to make your decision after considering a few important and amazing facts. Yes, the World's Best Seller (the Hebrew Scripture) does conclude there is a Messiah. It describes Him as a person. "Nonsense!" you might say. However, IF you are a thinking person, it is better to look at the facts than just dismiss the whole thing as nonsense. Does that sound reasonable? Here are the facts: It was predicted in Micah 5:2 (verse one in Hebrew...by the way, Micah was the Jewish writer of the book by his name in the Hebrew Bible. He wrote around 700 BCE. He was deemed a prophet by his early readers as he is today in Jewish circles): - "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One who is to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from old, from everlasting."
RASHI (1040-1105), that great medieval Jewish commentator, understood the Ruler coming out of the town of Bethlehem to be Messiah, son of David! He linked this passage with Psalm 118:24 and says that Messiah will be the "stone which the builders rejected!" (Rashi's statements here are found in the Mikraot Gedolot, a seventeenth century compilation of famous medieval rabbinical commentary.)
TALMUD YERUSHALMI states: - "...King Messiah is born...he is from the royal palace of Bethlehem Judah."
The idea that the Messiah would be "the stone which the builders rejected" ties in well with the Jewish midrashic commentary in MIDRASH RABBAH RUTH on Ruth 2:14 in which Messiah is said to "approach to a royal state" but would suffer BEFORE he becomes king in accordance with Isaiah 53:5, which the midrash quotes:
- "But He was wounded for our transgressions."
The midrash goes on to say that after that, the Messiah would be restored to His throne and defeat Israel's enemies, quoting the Hebrew Scriptures again from Isaiah 11:9, - "And he will smite the land with the rod of his mouth."
The passage from Midrash Rabbah Ruth on Ruth 2:14 reads, quoting from the Soncino Press English translation of 1939: - "The fifth interpretation makes it refer to the Messiah. COME HITHER: approach to a royal state. AND EAT OF THE BREAD refers to the bread of royalty; AND DIP THY MORSEL IN THE VINEGAR refers to his sufferings, as it is said, 'But he was wounded because of our transgression' (Isa. 53:5). AND SHE SAT BESIDE THE REAPERS, for he will be deprived of his sovereignty for a time, as it is said, 'For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken' (Zech. 14:2). AND THEY REACHED HER PARCHED CORN, means that he will be restored to his throne, as it is said, 'And he shall smite the land with the rod of his mouth' (Isa. 11:4)."
One might well ask, "What kind of time period are we talking about here between Messiah's sufferings (Isaiah 53:5) mentioned in the above midrash, and his being restored to his throne as the midrash states he will be (Isaiah 11:4)?" No time period is given. The Hebrew Scriptures in two places refer only to an unspecified amount of time: - "The LORD said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand UNTIL I make your enemies Your footstool." Psalm 110:1
and
- "For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days." Hosea 3:4, 5
The Jewish prophet, Zechariah (480 BCE), picked up on the theme of the "last days" ("aharit hayamin") seen in the above passage in Hosea and said: - "In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem...It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; THEN THEY WILL LOOK ON ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED [emphasis ours] and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn." (Zechariah 12:9, 10)
Regardless of how we translate the above Hebrew Scripture into English, the Talmud in Sukkah 52a, says in a comment on this passage: - "The cause of the mourning is the slaying of Messiah"...it calls him Messiah the son of Joseph."
What are we to make of all this? Isaiah 9:6, 7 (9:5, 6 in Hebrew) speaks of a special Son who will be born to the Jewish people: - "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder, and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of Daviid and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this."
Regardless of how one translates this verse into English, the Jewish TARGUM JONATHAN says this Son is Messiah: - "...A child has been born to us, a son has been given to us...and his name has been called from of old, Wonderful counsellor, Mighty God, He who lives for ever, the Anointed one (or Messiah) in whose days peace shall increase upon us."
MOSES ben MAIMON, popularly called Maimonides (1135-1204), who was the author of Mishneh Torah and considered the great Talmudist of his day, also says Isaiah 9:6 (9:5 in Hebrew) refers to Messiah: - "...you have not considered the pre-eminence of the Messiah, the manner of his appearance, and the marks whereby he is to be identified...Six appellations were divinely conferred upon him as the following passage indicates:'For a child is born unto us, and a son is given unto us, and the government is upon his shoulder, and he is called Pele, Yoetz, El, Gibbor, Abiad, Sar Shalom.' (Iaaiah 9:5)."
This revealing statement by Maimonides is taken from his "Egeret Teman" (Letter to Yemen). The Jewish MIDRASH DEVARIM (Deuteronomy), also says Isaiah 9:6 speaks of Messiah. Rabbi Samuel, the son of Nachman, says: - "Jacob replied; 'Let my Lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant' (Genesis 33:14.) What is the meaning of, 'I pray thee, pass over?’ Jacob said to him: 'I have yet to supply the messiah, of whom it is said: "Unto us a child is born."'"
A different Jewish source says our above passage in Isaiah refers to King Hezekiah (700 BCE), one of the few good kings of Israel. However, we hardly think this is the case, because King Hezekiah's reign was not intended to be forever. His son, Manasseh, was an evil king. YOU can make the choice of whom you think this "Son given to us" (the Jewish people) is...but bear in mind other Jewish Scriptures like Psalm 2:7, 8:
- "I will declare the decree; the LORD has said to Me, You are MY Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession."
The TALMUD in SUKKAH 52a says this son is Messiah: - "Our Rabbis taught, The Holy One, blessed be He, will say to the Messiah, the Son of David (May he reveal himself speedily in our days!), 'Ask of me anything, and I will give it to thee', as it is said, 'I will tell of the decree etc. this day have I begotten thee, ask of me and I will give the nations for thy inheritance.'"
MAIMONIDES also lends his voice declaring this son in Psalm 2:7 to be Messiah when he states: - "And another verse alluding to the Messiah culminates in the following manner 'Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee." (Psalm 2:7; Maimonides, "Letter to Yemen")
(Maimonides puts the above verse and Isaiah 9:5 in the same passage, referring them both to Messiah and saying, "All these statements demonstrate the pre-eminence of the Messiah." Maimonides had said previously in this passage that "God had bestowed some gifts upon him (Messiah) which he did not bestow upon Moses." He then cited these two verses.) Leila wrote: Question: "What does the Bible say about hermaphrodites?"
Answer: Babies that are born with both male and female sexual organs, or characteristics of both organs, are called hermaphrodites or intersex. A child who is in an intersex state is classified in one of three categories: 1) true hermaphrodite – an infant born with both ovaries and testicles and has both male and female sex organs. 2) female pseudohermaphrodite – a genetic female with male external sex organs. 3) male pseudohermaphrodite – genetic male with external sex organs that fail to develop properly, resulting in female or male/female physical characteristics.
In times past, doctors would perform surgeries without first testing the infant to find out its true sex, and the child would sometimes grow up very obviously a man, with female genitalia. Now, specialists can perform an ultrasound, blood test, chromosome analysis, and even do exploratory surgery to find out the baby's true sex. The treatment is still controversial, however.
Some believe that surgery and/or hormonal therapy should begin within the first 15 months of life, and others believe these things should be put off until the child is old enough to make his or her own decision about it. There are pros and cons for each side. Either way, any family with an intersex infant should begin counseling, as should the child when he or she is old enough.
When babies are developing in the womb, they all begin with sex organs that look female. If the baby is male, he begins to produce testosterone, and if the hormone reaches the tissues correctly, the external genitals become a scrotum and penis. Chromosomal or sex hormone abnormalities can produce an infant in an intersex state. It can also be caused by a condition called congenital adrenal hyperplasia, which is a disease the blocks the baby's metabolism. It is not as uncommon as we might think; about 1 in every 2,000 newborns is born in an intersex state.
Babies are not born with physical disorders to punish their parents in any way. Although God created the earth perfectly, it soon brought destruction upon itself with the onset of human sin (Romans 5:12). Before the Flood in Genesis chapter 7 that wiped out almost all living things on the earth, people had the potential to live for several hundred years.
After the Flood, human life spans grew progressively shorter, indicating a change in the environment which resulted in damage to the human genetic structure. This also explains why incest was necessary for the population of the earth in Genesis, but was forbidden later in the laws of Leviticus (verses 18:6-18). Now, thousands of years later as sin continues to permeate the world, the human race has been bombarded with every kind of sickness, disease, disorder and birth defect we can imagine.
It is very possible for a child born with both sex organs to grow up to have a healthy view of sexuality and successful relationships. From early on, the child should be taught how valuable, loved and accepted they are by their family and also by God. He or she is not a victim of divine judgment, but God has a plan for each one of us that will bring Him glory, as we can learn from a man who was healed by Jesus Christ.
“'Teacher,' his disciples asked him, 'why was this man born blind? Was it a result of his own sins or those of his parents?' 'It was not because of his sins or his parents' sins,' Jesus answered. 'He was born blind so the power of God could be seen in him'” (John 9:2-3). (from the site of Leila on Facebook)

| | Description This is description of Hermaphrodites group on Facebook: IF THERE ARE 100,000 AT LEAST ONE OF THEM IS A HERMAPHRODITE!! This is not a group of sexists who will discriminate hermaphrodites! It's quite unclear, but at least 1 out of 100,000 people is born a hermaphrodite. Just so you know, true Hermaphroditism refers to a condition where the individual has both ovarian tissue and testicular elements. It is extremely rare for both sets of organs to be functional; usually neither set is functional. So if we get to 100,000 members, we've found a hermaphrodite!!.. and we'll support him.. or her or whichever.
In some cases, a hermaphrodite can actually impregenate him/her/itself, producing a offspring with almost the exact same DNA as the parent
*Once we have one or two hermaphrodites to support, we'll create t-shirts..mugs.. and toys to support him/her. So please take a moment daily to check the sexual organs of your friends because you can be the lucky finder!!. More about Hermaphrodite to come... (From the FACEBOOK) |

| This is interesting article as lately many people became pagan/wiccan believer ie: in the USA. | | | | Being a Pagan in Today's Society Mae Anna McIntosh wrote: "Want to know what a persecuted pagan goes through? Find some enlightenment...if you dare! As a pagan, I find that there is an overwhelming sense of horror when issues of religion come about. It seem that there is a complete misunderstanding of what it means to be pagan in the 21st century.
"Pagan", when originated, meant "hill dweller." Now that's not the case. For any of you who may be wondering, "What makes a person a pagan?", I have a simple answer. Paganism, by today's definition, means "a person not following the Judaic, Islamic, or Christian faiths". So, technically, by default, if you're an atheist, you're therefore pagan by default.
Contrary to popular belief, Satanist, no matter what banner they fall under, are NOT pagans. Satanists believe in, and follow, Satan, who is, by all definition, a Christian character. Some Spiritual Satanists may argue this point, but anyone can see that Satan is the antithesis of God, and pagans do not believe in God, so...Satanists aren't pagans.
As an active practitioner of witchcraft, I find myself facing persecution and ridicule on a daily basis. What happened to religious tolerance? Or being treated fairly in the workplace, or even day-to-day life?
Not long after I moved to Kansas, I went into a bank that had been referred to me to open an account. Upon getting inside with my father, I asked who I would talk to about opening an account with them. The woman clearly and plainly eye-balled me up and down and when her glance landed on my pentacle (see it in the accompanying picture), her eyes hardened and she frowned. I was promptly told that they didn't want "my kind" as clients at their bank, and was coldly told to take my business elsewhere.
As I left, red-faced and with a confused father, I heard her say to someone, "Can you believe her nerve? As if we'd really let a devil-worshipper bank with us!" It took everything I had in me to not turn around and give her a piece of my mind. But I practice tolerance, and also believe very firmly in karma. ("You get what's coming to you", "You reap what you sow.")
Pagans are a peaceful people, not prone to attacking someone for their beliefs, or even getting confrontational when our own beliefs are belittled or questioned. We only get defensive when, say, fundamentalist Christians (or "fundies" as many pagans like calling them) pick, pick, and pick at our beliefs and tell us we're going to hell every time we turn around. But, then again, wouldn't you react a little rashly if you heard the same criticisms day after day, from many different people?
I get flak from my very own family, a mix of Catholics on my father's side and Pentecostals and Methodists on my mother's. And people wonder why I don't like getting into religious debates.
Let us live our lives without a hassle, like we let you do! That's all we ask. Is it really so hard? I have so many friends who have themselves stuck in the broom closet so far, they can't even see the lights of the Goddess. And it doesn't have to be that way.
If you have questions about witchcraft and paganism, ask someone! Try Google by simply typing "witchcraft" or "paganism". Or better yet, search out an online group and ask them there!
If you have a problem with my religion, that is the very center of my being, then keep it to yourself. You don't have to come up to me and tell me that you think I'm going to Hell. Keep in mind, the Christian Bible says "Judge not lest ye be judged" and "Pay heed to the log in thine eye, before pointing at the sliver in your brother's eye." All we're asking for is tolerance, and kindness.
Just because we're different doesn't mean we're bad people. We just want to believe in peace!" |

Dear Friend: I am writing to share with you some important news pertaining to my latest book In Defense of Israel. It has come to my attention that my choice of language and some of the interpretation being given that language in Chapter Ten has caused some confusion and actually led some readers to question whether I believe that Jesus is the Messiah. If people are reaching such a conclusion, then I have clearly failed to communicate my views as well as I should have. I have decided to release a new edition of In Defense of Israel with an expanded Chapter Ten. The new version will make the same point as the prior one, but using language which cannot mislead anyone about my bedrock belief that Jesus was and is Lord, Savior and Messiah. I was surprised to learn that some people were interpreting my words as a rejection of this most fundamental Christian belief that Jesus came to earth as the Messiah promised in the Hebrew Scriptures. I have been preaching the gospel for half a century. Almost every Sunday for the past 50 years, I have stood in front of Christian audiences to clearly proclaim the glory of our Lord, Savior and Messiah, Jesus Christ. For the past 30 years, these weekly sermons have been beamed to millions around the world on Christian television. Given my long years of preaching the gospel to so many, it simply never occurred to me that anyone would question my belief in the fundamentals of the faith. I chose to use challenging language that I hoped would confront the body of Christ to consider events from the Jewish and historical perspective and therefore develop greater empathy for our Jewish friends. Over the centuries, Christians have been quick to condemn the Jews for failing to recognize Jesus as Messiah. This approach led to replacement theology and the viewpoint of some that God has rejected and broken covenant with the Jewish people. These ideas, in turn, opened the door to a vicious Christian anti-Semitism that led to the Crusades, the Inquisition and countless pogroms. I tried to challenge this view by highlighting a distinction that has been long recognized in Christian theology between the role Jesus played in His first coming, and the role He will play in his second coming. Jesus came the first time as the suffering Messiah, as exemplified by His persecution, rejection and crucifixion. Jesus will come back as the reigning Messiah, who will rule the world from His throne in Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We Christians believe that the suffering Messiah was clearly foreshadowed in the writings of the Hebrew prophets. However, most Jews have never read the prophets in this way. The Jews were expecting the reigning Messiah. I know this, you know this, and our omniscient and omnipotent Savior knows this. God could have sent His Son to earth as the reigning Messiah the Jews were expecting. Instead He chose to send Him as the suffering Messiah, who submitted to the Cross, and I thank Him every day that He did. But I also regret daily that this divine move has led so many of the fallen humans it saved to denigrate and persecute the Jewish people from whom our Lord sprang. In the expanded Chapter Ten, I will make the same point with language that does not hide my own perspective on the matter. The primary change will involve how I use the word “Messiah.” In the expanded version, I will clarify the clear distinction between the “Suffering Messiah,” the Lamb of God and the “Reigning Messiah,” the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! I am deeply grieved for any confusion my writing may have caused the body of Christ. It was never intended. I trust this letter and the expanded edition of In Defense of Israel will clarify what I believe. I also hope that we can return our focus to what I had anticipated to highlight all along, the fact that we Christians must shift from condemning the Jews for what they missed to thanking them for what they gave. Blessings to you and those you love, Pastor John Hagee
IS THERE SERIOUS ERROR IN THE NEW BOOK, IN DEFENSE OF ISRAEL? by Dr. Michael L. Brown Pastor John Hagee’s new book, In Defense of Israel: The Bible’s Mandate for Supporting the Jewish State (Lake Mary, Florida: Front Line, 2007), was publicized by announcements stating that the book would “shake Christian theology.” The following positions are explicitly laid out in the book: Jesus did not come to earth to be the Messiah.
Jesus refused by word and deed to be the Messiah.
The Jews cannot be blamed for not accepting what was never offered.
Statements like this must be evaluated in light of 1 John 2:22: “Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ [i.e., Messiah]. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.” As commentator Stephen S. Smalley explained, “The true believer is the one who accepts the Christhood of Jesus, whereas those who deny his messianic identity declare themselves to be on the side of the antichrist” (Word Biblical Commentary). What could possibly be the motivation for teaching such error? First, In Defense of Israel desires to dispel once and for all the notion that all Jews are Christ-killers, a terrible lie that has fueled anti-Semitism in the Church for more than 1,500 years. Second, the book wants to refute the false teaching of replacement theology, explaining that, “Replacement theologians have said that ‘the covenant with Israel was broken because she would not accept Jesus Christ whom God sent.’” (See p. 132 of In Defense of Israel.) Tragically, in the attempt to fight against these serious errors, a more serious error has now been introduced. Yet some believers – and even leaders! – are buying into this error hook, line, and sinker, and some have begun to teach and preach it as well. Since the publication of the book, Pastor Hagee issued some clarifying remarks, but the clarifications only complicate the issues and fail to renounce and remove the error. Here are three fundamental statements that all believers should be able to affirm without hesitation:
1) Jesus came to be the Messiah. This is the fundamental message of the New Testament, which is why we call him “Christ” (meaning, “Messiah”). And it is a fundamental message of the Scriptures that the Messiah had to suffer and die if he was one day to rule and reign (see, e.g., Luke 24:25-27, 44-47), a biblical truth that most of the Jewish people of Yeshua’s day missed, a biblical truth that most Jews through the ages have continued to miss, and a biblical truth that In Defense of Israel has now fed into as well.
In the clarifying statements that have been made since the publication of his book, it was explained that Jesus came to be the suffering Messiah but not the reigning Messiah – something, of course, that we all knew, and something that would hardly “shake Christian theology” – but these statements have simply introduced another nuance to the error, since nowhere in the New Testament is such a distinction made.
In other words, God did not say to Israel, “It’s fine that you rejected Jesus as Messiah because he did not come in the political way you expected. He had to die in order to be the Savior of the world, so you are not guilty.” There is not a hint of such a message in the Scriptures, which simply proclaim him as the Messiah, period.
That’s why Jesus explicitly identified himself as the Messiah in the Gospels (see, e.g., Matt 16:16-17; Mark 14:61-62; Luke 7:20-23; John 4:25-26; 5:39, 45-47; 10:24-25) – not as the suffering Messiah, whom his people were supposed to reject so that he could die, as opposed to the reigning Messiah, whom they would one day receive, but simply as the Messiah – and that’s why the Gospel authors frequently announced him as the Messiah (in Greek, the Christ; see, e.g., Luke 2:11, 26; John 1:41; 3:28; 11:27; 20:31). And that’s why the apostles proclaimed him as the Messiah in Acts (see, e.g., Acts 2:31, 36; 3:18, 20; 4:26; 5:42; 8:5; 9:22; 17:2-3; 18:5, 28; 26:23).
I would encourage you to look up every reference cited here. It is all quite simple, forthright, and easy to understand, and nowhere is any distinction made between the suffering and reigning Messiah. To repeat: Jesus is proclaimed as the Messiah of Israel, period, and because he is the Messiah of Israel, he is the Savior of the world.
2) The Jewish people rejected their Messiah. Although all Jews are not Christ-killers (God forbid!), and although the entire Jewish nation did not play a role in the crucifixion of Jesus, God held the Jewish people in Jesus’ day responsible for his death and, more significantly, he held them responsible for rejecting Jesus the Messiah after his resurrection. The New Testament witness is explicit and consistent on this.
That’s why the apostles preached to “the people of Israel” that they were guilty of rejecting the Messiah (Acts 2:22-23, 36; 3:13-15, 17, 19; 4:10-11; 5:30; 7:52; 13:27-28; see also John 1:12), and that’s why Paul spoke of Israel’s hardening, breaking off, stumbling, transgression, and rejection (see Rom 9:31; 10:3; 11:7, 11-12, 15, 20 – although with the full expectation of Israel’s future redemption; see Rom 11:11-15, 25-26). Again, I encourage you to take a moment to look up these passages. They are striking in their force and consistency.
Because of this rejection, severe judgment came on the Jewish people in the first century, as prophesied by Yeshua with tears (see Luke 19:41-44; see also Matt 23:29-37) and as taught in his parables (see, e.g., Matt 21:33-46; 22:1-14).
As painful as this witness is, it cannot be rewritten, nor can anyone lessen Israel’s guilt because it was God’s will that Jesus died on the cross. To the contrary, just as it was God’s will that Joseph be sold into Egyptian slavery and yet at the same time his brothers were guilty of sinning against him (Gen 44:16-45:5; 50:14-20), so also it was God’s will that Yeshua die for our sins while at the same time the Jewish people, along with Herod and Pilate and the Romans, were guilty of having him crucified (see Acts 2:22-24; 4:27-28).
It is scripturally impossible to claim that “the Jews cannot be blamed for not accepting what was never offered.” A glorious offer was made and refused, and that’s why Paul’s heart was broken (see Rom 9:1-5).
3) Jesus remains the Jewish Messiah, and there is no salvation for the Jewish people outside of faith in him. Although Pastor Hagee has consistently stated that he does not teach “dual covenant” theology, referring to the false concept that Jews can be saved outside of faith in Jesus, his new teaching certainly aids and abets that error. After all, if “The Jews Did Not Reject Jesus as Messiah” (as stated in bold print in his book), and if “Jesus refused by word and deed to be the Messiah” (be it the “reigning Messiah” or not), then, not only can it be said that “the Jews [in Jesus’ day] cannot be blamed for not accepting what was never offered” but that the Jews in any day cannot be blamed for not accepting Yeshua.
This again is a fundamental denial of the Word of God, and although In Defense of Israel claims that the “message of the gospel was from Israel, not to Israel,” Jesus, Peter, and Paul declared that the message of the gospel was to Israel first, and then from Israel to the nations (see Luke 24:47; Acts 1:8; 3:26; 13:32-39; Rom 1:16; in Paul’s words to the Jewish leaders in Rome, it was “for the sake of the hope of Israel” that he was bound in chains; Acts 28:20).
To be sure, there are a number of other errors found in the critical section of In Defense of Israel (including the myth that there was a so-called cup of the Messiah, the alleged fourth cup of the Passover meal that Yeshua supposedly refused to drink), but this is not the place to address those concerns, and to focus on the smaller problems would detract from the larger picture. Let’s continue to make the truth known: Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel, the King of the Jews, the Savior of the World!
In Him,
Michael L. Brown, Ph.D.
| [Messianic-Torah-TruthSeekers] THE HAGEE CONTROVERSY One never wins a popularity contest by naming names even though it is biblical to do so. I wonder how the sheep are to avoid some wolves if names aren't used, but this one pains me. I have appreciated the ministry of Pastor John Hagee. His books have been well written with good substance. He is a powerful preacher. And, he is an ardent friend of Israel, also known as a Christian Zionist. He heads what is known as "Christians United for Israel." But can you ever be too much of a Christian Zionist to the point where you become an enemy of the Jews due to theology? Pastor Hagee has been on record for holding to the theology known as "Dual Covenant." That is, in part, the belief that the Jews don't really need Jesus to be saved because they are God's chosen people. While they are, indeed, God's chosen people, there is no other way of salvation than through the shed blood of the Lamb of God--the Messiah Jesus. The Bible is so clear on this it isn't even debatable... except to John Hagee. Pastor Hagee has at times renounced his "Dual Covenant" theology and then seems to return to it. He has a new book out titled In Defense of Israel. I have been in ministry over 25 years and much of it has been Israel and/or Jewish-related. I have seen people and ministries "love the Jews to death." They deny them the gospel, emphasize humanitarian work, and even speak in churches suggesting that it is not wise to evangelize Jews. But in Hagee's new book he almost goes beyond all of that. In the book he states, (1) The Jewish people as a whole did not reject Jesus as Messiah; (2) Jesus did not come to earth to be the Messiah; (3) Jesus refused by word and deed to claim to be the Messiah; (4) How can the Jews be blamed for rejecting what was never offered them? He further states there was a "Calvary conspiracy" between Rome, the High Priest, and Herod. The conspiracy was to execute Jesus as an insurrectionist who was too dangerous to be allowed to live. The clip of this can be heard here. If your dial-up connection will not allow you to see this, then find a DSL computer and watch it before you blast me out of the saddle. To claim that Jesus never openly proclaimed Himself to be the Messiah is nonsense. He did it both privately (John 4) and publicly (Matthew 23:10). As the head of Moriel Ministries, Jacob Prasch says, "He [Hagee] is a doctrinally confused man who is misleading others and such an irresponsible book does more to harm the cause of opposing the error of Replacement Theology and of enlightening the church about the prophetic purposes of God for Israel and the Jews than it does to assist it. I am sad that a good friend of Israel with what I believe is a sincere love for the Jews has frankly made himself look like a theological charlatan in the eyes of any serious conservative Evangelical scholar." But when the love of any ethnic group becomes so strong that we dare not offend them and we thus twist Scripture, we have hit a real bump in the road! Serious deception has entered in. I know of a few other pro-Israel organizations whose delegates actually fill church pulpits and tell congregations not to evangelize the Jews for varying reasons. My own father came from an Orthodox Jewish home but someone dared to tell him the "gospel truth" many years ago. Had they not done that, since he passed away in 2001, he could be in eternal flames now. Someone had to risk "offending" him and tell him the truth: He needed Jesus as his Messiah. They had to risk and preach the solid gospel to him. Thankfully, he thus died a believer. Messianic scholar Dr. Michael Brown says this about Pastor Hagee: "In the clarifying statements (that Pastor Hagee has made) he explained that Jesus came to be the suffering Messiah but not the reigning Messiah. But this statement introduces another nuance to the error, since nowhere in the New Testament is such a distinction made." Brown also says, "Jesus is proclaimed as the Messiah of Israel, period, and because He is the Messiah of Israel, He is the Savior of the world." How does a good and sincere man stray so seriously? Perhaps because we are in rampant days of deception. But in Hagee's case, I feel he so wants to please the Jews that he has compromised to the point of utter blasphemy to say that "Jesus did not come to earth to be the Messiah." There was no "Calvary conspiracy." It was God's plan of the ages that Jesus be the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world! I believe Pastor John Hagee sincerely loves God but in this instance, he is sincerely wrong. It would be good if all reading this would pray for Hagee, that he would denounce this aberrant theology he now seems to embrace. We need his voice on behalf of Israel today, but not with the message as it stands now. LIVE RADIO THIS WEEKEND: Nonie Darwish pays a return visit to "Understanding the Times." Is Chanukkah The Conception of Yeshua? Yeshua was born on Sukkot and circumcised on Simchat Torah. However, can we determine when He was conceived, and does the time of His conception have any significance to the Jewish Calendar? "You can find the year Yeshua was born by counting backwards from the year he was crucified.
We know he was crucified April 3rd 30 A.D. because the Talmud records that for 40 consecutive years up until the Roman Seige in 70 A.D. that the Yom Kippur ribbon on the goat failed to turn white. The stone failed to turn white, and the doors to the temple opened mysteriously and the fire went out on the altar for 40 consecutive years.
That year in 30 A.D. Passover fell on a Wednesday giving us the 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth as Yeshua said he would be. He resurrected on Havdalah "exiting the Sabbath" on Saturday night. He then waived the first fruits offering before Yehovah on the day after the Sabbath following Passover.
If we count 33.5 X 360 days for a Biblical Lunar Calendar = 12,060 days to his life If we count 33.5 X 365 days for Solar Calendar = 12,227.5 days to his life
This means that there is a difference of 167.5 days to his life from the Biblical Calendar to the Solar Calendar. This is a difference of about 6 months.
And so if we go by the solar calendar he was 34 at his death. If we go by the lunar calendar he was 33.5 at his death.
Going by the solar calendar, we count 30 A.D. minus 34 years and it comes to 4 B.C. but we don't count the year "zero" so it brings us to Feast of Tabernacles in 3 B.C. and the announcement came on Feast of Trumpets with the constellation on September 11, 3 B.C.
This constellation was on September 11, 3 B.C. showing Ariel the Lion of Judah, and Bethula (Virgin) the "woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet, and she had a crown of 12 stars, she gave birth to a man child who would rule all nations with a rod of iron" (Revelation 12).
I found out that the Jewish Calendar that year in 3759 when Yeshua was born in 3 B.C., was the same as the year 1999. So I found a Jewish Calendar online for 1999, counted 180 days or 6 months from Passover (when John the Baptist was born) and it lands precisely on the Feast of Tabernacles for the birth of Yeshua!
Then I counted 271 days backwards to Chanukkah and it lands in 4 B.C. on December 13th.
The reason why we use 271 days for a normal gestation is because the Hebrew word for pregnancy is Herayon and it adds up to 271 in Hebrew Gematria!" So we can conclude that Yeshua was conceived on Chanukkah 4 B.C. 3758.
